The Virgin Islands is joining organisations from across the Caribbean to share scientific best practices and techniques for mangrove restoration in a virtual Regional Mangrove Symposium from March 1 to 3.

Honourable Alvera Maduro-Caines is serving as Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture from February 27 to March 4.

The naming of the Omar Wallace Hodge Fisherman’s Wharf and Park

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is inviting cooks from across the Territory to register for a Fish Soup Competition.

The old fisherman’s wharf at Baugher’s Bay is slated to be named after the late Omar Wallace Hodge.
