Virgin Islands Financial Institutions (VIFIs) under the Common Reporting Standards (CRS) and Virgin Islands Constituent Entities (VICEs) for Country by Country Reporting (CBCR) are notified that the BVI Financial Account Reporting System (BVIFARS) is still in the process of being updated.

MONEY MATTERS BVI (the financial literacy programme at the BVI Financial Services Commission) will be hosting a Lunch & Learn event to address issues surrounding Wills and Estate Planning on Wednesday, May 15, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Financial Services Commission Training Centre.

BVI Finance today welcomed the European Union’s recognition of the BVI as a cooperative jurisdiction as it has delivered on its commitment relating to economic substance as defined by the EU.
