Food Handlers’ clinics are scheduled to resume on Virgin Gorda tomorrow December 20 and Wednesday, December 27. 

Chief Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Lionel Michael has said that Food Handlers’ sessions has resumed on Tortola.

The public is informed that fogging will continue in Round Hill, Luck Hill, New Bush, Harrigan, Chalwell, Treadfall, Doty and Shannon Estates tomorrow December 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Environmental Health Division is alerting food handlers on Jost Van Dyke, that a Food Handlers’ Clinic will be held on Friday, December 15 

The public is informed that fogging will continue in locality six today, December 12 and tomorrow, December 13 between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. Areas to be fogged include Zion Hill, Little Apple Bay, Long Bay, Belmont Estate, Spy Glass Hill, Carrot Bay, Great Carrot Bay and Windy Hill.

Food handlers and prospective vendors in Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke are urged to register for the upcoming 2017 Old Year’s Party. 

The Cane Garden Bay beach is closed for recreational use until further notice due to poor water quality.

The community is being advised to take the necessary precautions to ensure that their water supply is safe for all uses including drinking, cooking, hand washing and bathing.

Vector control and food and water safety are high on the priority list for the Environmental Health Division as efforts continue to restore, prevent and protect the community from environmental health related diseases. 

The Environmental Health Division is alerting the public that fogging will continue in the Slaney area today, November 29, and continue to Sea Cow’s Bay and West End.
