Members of community organisations and the public are invited to join together and form a human chain at Long Bay Beach, Beef Island on Saturday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m.
Technicians at the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) and the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) are being trained to complete the installation of weather stations across the Territory.
A human chain will be formed at Long Bay Beach, Beef Island this Saturday, September 8 in observation of the 1st anniversary of the passage of Hurricane Irma.
The public is reminded to attend the Service of Thanksgiving, Reflection and Restoration in observation of the one year anniversary of the passage of hurricane Irma.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE has said his government welcomes the opportunity to partner with the community in its plans to observe the 1st anniversary of the passage of Hurricane Irma.
