The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) will be spreading the Christmas cheer with their annual Christmas programme to be held Christmas morning in the lobby of the New Peebles Hospital from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Today, December 18, Managing Partner of Harneys, Mr. Colin Riegels and Marketing and Business Development Coordinator of Harneys, Ms. Feliza Fenty made a monetary donation of two thousand dollars to the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Service.

Some 208 gifts were given to the Territory’s students on December 12 as part of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Holiday Gift Project.

The Director of the Department of Disaster Management, Ms. Sharleen S. DaBreo will be honoured at an investiture ceremony at Government House. She will be awarded with the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) Badge.

The Territory will pay homage and respect to those who have sacrificed their lives in battle when it observes Remembrance Day on Sunday, November 11.

The Rotary Club of the BVI partnered with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) to carry out what has been called another successful community clothing drive.

Officers from the Royal Virgin Police Force, Her Majesty’s Prison and the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services are featured as they prepare for the Queen’s Birthday celebrations on Saturday, June 9.

Mrs. H. Lynden Smith is the Territory’s newest recipient of the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) award from Her Majesty the Queen.

Residents of the Virgin Gorda community are notified that office hours on Tuesday, March 13 at the Virgin Gorda Administration Complex, Vanterpool Building with Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE has been postponed until further notice.

The public is notified that service hours at the Department of Land Registry have been extended from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.  Services offered include certified copies, registrations and searches. Hearings and site visits remain suspended until further notice.
