My dear neighbours of the Fifth District, together, we are in a pact. When I asked you to make me your representative about twenty (20) months ago, I made a solemn promise that I would work hard for you and I would work with you so that together we can bring District 5 Alive.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is hosting a public meeting with residents of Jost Van Dyke on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Foxy’s.

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie will lead his Government to Jost Van Dyke for a community meeting with the residents on Thursday, October 22.  

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) is inviting residents of Lower Hope to Sabbath Hill to a community meeting on Thursday, 8^th October at 6:00 p.m. at the Catchment, Hope Hill. 

Mr. Speaker, as we continue to grow as a Territory, we believe that a Ministerial Code would lend to our future path that would involve systems being in place in keeping with our commitment to self-determination.

Mister Speaker, I rise to update this Honourable House and the citizens of the Virgin Islands on the progress being made with my ministerial portfolio. The Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities (MTWU) continues to forge ahead towards the improvement of infrastructure and utilities of our beloved Virgin Islands.

The Virgin Islands Public Works Department officially received two completed drainage improvement structures in Nibbs Ghut, Sea Cows Bay earlier this month.

The public is being given an opportunity to express comments in support of or opposition to the applications for the development of a gas station in West End and a parking garage in Road Town.

Residents of the Ninth District and surrounding communities will be given an opportunity to have their concerns addressed at a series of community meetings to begin later this month.

The public is notified that road works are ongoing on Nitto road in Upper Horsepath until April 30.
