The Government of the Virgin Islands invites tenders for the Repairs to the Cane Garden Bay Community Centre, Cane Garden Bay, Tortola.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable, Marlon A. Penn says he hopes the repairs made to the community centres across the Territory will help to build resilience and make the Virgin Islands better prepared for any future disaster.

Over seven years ago, the Ministry of Health and Social Development canvassed persons living in this community to hear their views regarding the re-naming of the Purcell Community Centre. Unsurprisingly, one hundred percent (100%) of the respondents were in full agreement with the proposal to name the building in honour of Ms. Gertrude Warner and her mother Christiana.
