Representative for the Second District, Honourable Melvin Turnbull at the Opening Ceremony of the Cane Garden Bay Community Centre on October 16 said:

“I want to focus on the importance of the community centre to the Cane Garden Bay community. It is not just a community centre but it serves as the Cane Garden Bay clinic. We can also have our community meetings at the centre and now there is also a plan to have after school tutoring for students within the community s well as an adult education programme.”
