A pleasant good afternoon to everyone.  I bring greetings to everyone here in the Virgin Islands, in the region and the world.  It is safe to say that the people and the economy of the Virgin Islands have endured a series of challenges within recent years.

Honourable Alvera Maduro-Caines is serving as Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture from February 27 to March 4.  

The Virgin Islands will be observing June 3 as a public holiday to celebrate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that all services will be conducted remotely and electronically on Friday, February 25 to allow the staff to conduct its yearly Strategic Planning Day.
