Many of us would have seen the reports of the recent earthquake in Puerto Rico. Our thoughts are with those affected by any damage. With seismic activity continuing in the region and the Atlantic Hurricane Season just around the corner, it is timely that many are wondering what they might do differently when it comes to emergencies in the context of the Coronavirus COVID-19.

As I have previously reported, on January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus a global public health emergency; due to its rapid spread, COVID-19 was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

I greet you in the midst of this global Pandemic which has taken us into what the Premier has termed the “New Regular” where we have to adapt, live and work with COVID-19.
