The Government of the Virgin Islands has signed a contract for significant works on the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters Tender Bay.

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has received a "No Objection" from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to advance the procurement process for the construction of the West End Ferry Terminal and temporary facility. As a result, the four shortlisted firms have officially been issued the bid documents, marking a significant step forward in the project’s progress.
The H. Lavity Stoutt Community College’s (HLSCC) Centre for Applied Marine Studies (CAMS) recently welcomed Dr. Loay Jabre, an HLSCC alumnus (A.S., Natural Science ’10) and Postdoctoral Investigator from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) in Falmouth, Massachusetts for a two-week exploratory study and training visit.
