The three month effort was commissioned by Government and facilitated by global consultants McKinsey with involvement of the industry and other stakeholders. The aim was to lay out a pragmatic strategy and implementation plan to ensure a thriving and sustainable Financial Services sector. 

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) will be represented at the 2015 Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) annual conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from the April 26 to April 29.

A case study to evaluate the Territory’s implementation of the ‘Port of Spain Declaration’ was facilitated by the Ministry of Health and Social Development this week.

An exhibition highlighting workplaces in the public and private sector and a ceremony on health and safety in the workplace are activities slated to take place as the Territory observes World Day for Safety and Health at Work on Tuesday, April 28.

The Town and Country Planning Department is inviting the public to a community meeting to discuss matters regarding the development of the Josiah’s Bay area. The purpose of the meeting is to advise that a plan is underway, encourage citizen participation and solicit issues that should be addressed early in the planning.
