Cabinet has approved the implementation of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) Visa Exemption Programme that will go into effect from Thursday, September 1.
More than 60 corporate service providers, lawyers and other financial services practitioners attended a ‘Meet the Regulator in Hong Kong’ seminar hosted by BVI House Asia.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE is away from the Territory attending the Pre-Joint Ministerial Council Meeting (JMC) in Turks and Caicos from Tuesday, July 19 until Thursday, July 21.
His Excellency the Acting Governor, Mr. Robert Mathavious, on the advice of the Public Service Commission, has approved the acting appointment of Mrs. Carolyn Stoutt Igwe as Permanent Secretary in the Deputy Governor’s Office.
Her Majesty in accordance with section 36(2) (b) and (c) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order 2007, has designated Mrs. Rosalie Adams to act in the Office of Deputy Governor for the period from August 8 to 31.
Local author, Phoenicia Warner will launch her first book ‘Overcome Your Thirst’ in a 7:00 a.m. ceremony this Saturday, July 16 at the Save the Seed Centre, Duff’s Bottom.
