Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie B. de Castro said she is satisfied to see the completion of the Elmore Stoutt High School Redevelopment project which has paved the way for students to return to a full day of classes.

Wheatley, Premier and Minister for Finance of the Virgin Islands (VI) and Mrs. Wheatley led a delegation to attend the inauguration of Governor, Albert Bryan Jr. and Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. His Excellency the Governor, Mr. John Rankin CMG acting in accordance with the advice of the Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley, has prorogued the House of Assembly effective Friday, December 30 until such a time a new session is appointed.

Ms Lynette Harrigan has been awarded an MBE from His Majesty the King for her contributions to International Travel during the COVID pandemic and to the community in the British Virgin Islands.
In anticipation of increased visitors to our shores this weekend, officials from various Government agencies (Customs, Immigration, Police, Treasury, and the BVI Ports Authority) are in high gear to provide extended services to facilitate their clearance.

The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved The Strategic Blue Economy Roadmap, which was developed with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on 30 November.
The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is developing an enhanced emergency alerting app, which will be available to the public next year. Costs for the technical development of the app are being shared by the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office.
