The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board (BVITB) in partnership with the prestigious U.S. based sports institution IMG Academy, is accepting applications for three aspiring BVI athletes to attend a “Week Youth Core Sport Camp”. Several of the professional tennis players who played at the 2018 Miami Open, are alumni of IMG Academy.
A BVI delegation will explore ways and means to diversify the Territory’s economy at the Outsource to the Caribbean Conference (OCC) 2019 in Curaçao in May.
Director of the Water and Sewage Department Mrs. Pearline Scatliffe-Leonard has said that her department is working to provide a 24 hour service in the various communities, as the Territory joins the rest of the world in observing World Water Day on Friday, March 22.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie shared his Government’s vision when he met with officials from the BVI’s financial services industry at the BVI Finance Breakfast Forum yesterday, March 21.

Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works Mr. Jeremy W. Hodge has said that works on the Threllfall road are consistent with the mission of the ministry to ensure the continued development and maintenance of public infrastructure.
The Fourth Cabinet of the Virgin Islands held a one-day Executive Briefing Retreat at which Members received a status report of major issues pertinent to the Cabinet’s executive mandate.
