The Government of the British Virgin Islands will be receiving technical assistance for the development of a National Ocean Policy.

The British Virgin Islands is exploring the possibility of becoming a member of the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA). This follows the Territory’s participation in the third Caribbean Investment Summit in Miami.

Creating healthy individuals and presenting healthier meal options were the focus of activities to observe Caribbean Nutrition Day, yesterday June 1.

Awareness programmes, activities and events for interested persons of all ages are planned as the Territory observes Environment Week 2016.

For the first time since the enactment of the Trade Marks Act 2013 and the Trade Marks Rules 2015, BVI Finance and the Virgin Islands Association of Registered Trade Mark Agents (ARTMA) attended the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) annual meeting. 

A beautification schedule has been put in place for Road Town which includes painting the city once a month.

The Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly is the recipient of a donation of $1500 by Quality Construction.
