Seniors from Carrot Bay, Sea Cow’s Bay, East End/Long Look, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke, Road Town, and Virgin Gorda are featured as they fellowshipped recently at a luncheon on Virgin Gorda. The event was the BVI’s ‘Golden Adults’ segment of the Senior Programme. Government officials including Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone; Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent Wheatley and Junior Minister for Tourism, Honourable Shereen Flax-Charles also joined the seniors. Musical entertainment was provided by the Leon and the Hot Shots. The day also included an island tour excursion and shopping. The event was spearheaded by the BVI Social Development Department.
