The final debate of the 2024 Inter-Secondary School Prelimary Debates took place at the New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre Activity Hall today under the moot: “The BVI is ill-prepared to address the health challenges posed by an aging population.” The opposition team, Bregado Flax Educational Centre (BFEC) emerged victorious in an intellectual showdown with the proposition team, the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS). The Semi-final round of the debate series is set to take place on February 28 and 29. The three (3) winners and the losing team with the most points, St. Georges Secondary School, the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies (VISTS), BFEC, and ESHS will compete.
