All travelers, including Belongers and children, travelling to the British Virgin Islands are notified that approval must first be granted to travel to the Territory without a valid passport.

Permission can be sought from the Chief Immigration Officer at least 48 hours before expected arrival via immigrationinfo@gov.vg.

 Requests must entail the following information: (1) expected date of arrival; (2) port of entry to be utilised at entry; (3) copies of expired passport; (4) copies of other forms of government issued identification you expect to travel with (i.e. Birth Certificate, Belonger Card, etc.).
