The BVI Airports Authority is confirming that there has been an aircraft accident just of runway 03 at the Taddy Bay International Airport on Virgin Gorda. So far the authorities of the Authority are confirming that there were five (5) souls on board the Cessna 402 aircraft and three and a half (3 ½ ) hours of fuel. The aircraft registration number is N768CH. The Authority is in the process of retrieving the manifest from Her Majesty’s Custom to verify the owner and or company of the aircraft. The Fire and Rescue Services are currently at the scene and the Authority will provide more information as it becomes available.
