Press Release
A total of 215 problems have been solved to date through the “BVI GOV Report It” App.
The App allows the public to take photos and file live, trackable reports of Public Service non-emergencies such as potholes, broken pipes and signage, stray animals, derelict vehicles, and other related issues.
A total of 313 reports were made since the App’s initial launch in April 2023 and 215 problems have been solved to date, while 98 solutions are in progress.
Customer Service Manager Ms. Abbarah Brown said, “The App has done exceptionally well in its first year, and I would like to acknowledge the members of the public for their role in this success by engaging with the App from the onset.”
Ms. Abbarah Brown reminded users that the App is still active and that reports are being resolved daily.
“I encourage everyone to file reports of things that need addressing in their community. Remember that you can view these reports after they’ve been filed and track our progress in addressing these reports in a timely manner,” the Customer Service Manager said.
The BVI GOV Report It App is available for download on both Android and IOS devices at the Apple App Store and Google Play store respectively. Persons in need of assistance with downloading and/or using the App can contact the Customer Service Care Centre via telephone at 468-3701, via WhatsApp at 468-9760 or via email at customerservice@gov.vg. Persons can also visit the Customer Service Care Centre in the Burhym Building (first floor) in Road Town.
The Customer Service Care Centre seeks to enhance the customer service relationship between the Government and its clients, by utilising Customer Service Specialists that serve as the single point-of-contact for the public to communicate with the Government.
