Athletes from public and primary schools in the Virgin Islands are featured in Day one of the 2025 Inter-Primary School Athletics Championships. The championships began today with twenty (20) schools engaged in sportsman-like competition for bragging rights for the title of Inter-Primary School Athletics Champions. The two-day event was officially declared open by the Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie de Castro after a march pass and opening ceremony at the A.O Shirley Recreation Grounds. The Francis Lettsome Primary School are the defending champions having won in2024. The public is invited to attend and show its support on Friday March 28 for day two where the activities will culminate with a prize giving ceremony and announcement of the 2025 winning school.
