Road Not Closed In Kingstown

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that the road from Sophie Bay to Kingstown is not closed.

Works are being carried out on the road and persons are asked to drive with caution and follow traffic signs.

For more information about the on-going road works visit bvi.gov.vg or stay abreast of your local community board online and on the radio.

The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

Parking Lot Closure Adjacent One Stop Mall

The Office of the City Manager is notifying the public and surrounding businesses that the parking lot adjacent to the One Stop Mall will be closed from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 30. The purpose of the closure is to accommodate a public meeting. The parking lot will reopen after the meeting.

Violators who refuse to adhere to the closure will be towed at their own expense.

The Office of the City Manager apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

The Bands and Choir of the Elmore Stoutt High School is inviting the public to its annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 9 at Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Elmore Stoutt High School’s front office at a cost of $15 for adults and $5 for students and children under 16 years. 

All are encouraged to come out and support the students.

Public Service Excellence Award Committee To Visit Jost Van Dyke

The Department of Human Resources is informing public officers on Jost Van Dyke that a team consisting of members of the Public Service Excellence Award Steering Committee will be visiting Jost Van Dyke on Tuesday, 28 April.

The team will meet with officers in their respective departments to further educate them about the award programme, which is designed to recognise high performers and improve employee morale in the Public Service. The aim is also to arouse their interest in the nomination process.
