STATEMENT FROM THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL ON THE RECENT ARRESTS

The armed robbery at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park on 1 July was a shocking incident which caused great concern for all present at the Pier Park that day and for the wider community.

In June of this year, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs and Sports arranged for a structural analysis to be conducted on the Althea Scatliffe Primary School building.

On Thursday, 16^th June, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, and Sports received a report documenting a recent inspection of the Althea Scatliffe Primary School.

The public is notified that the Lands Unit of the Land and Survey Department is closed for the remainder of the day. Operations will resume on Monday, November 8.

The public is notified that the Office of the Governor will be closed on Friday, June 5 ....
