Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer and a team of officials visited the area of a disrupted sewerage line at Pasea which caused a backup in traffic to Road Town earlier today.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities Mr. Ronald Smith-Berkeley says he is confident that the expertise and commitment reside within the ministry to restore the Territory’s road network and bring relief to the people of the Virgin Islands.

Mr. Speaker, the condition and functioning of the roads, bridges, and coastal revetments/rock armour and drainage infrastructure is directly linked to the quality of life of our citizens.
The public is advised that the road from Great Mountain to the Look Out in Fahie Hill is closed today, Thursday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, October 18 from 7:00 a.m. to Saturday, October 19, at 7:00 a.m.
