The Family Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in collaboration with the BVI Health Services Authority will be offering a Self-Management Programme for persons with chronic diseases from November 15 to December 13.

Persons with Chronic Diseases in the Territory will soon benefit from a Self-Management Programme courtesy the Family Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in collaboration with the BVI Health Services Authority.

Residents of the Virgin Islands have answered the call to contribute financially and assist with the outfitting of the New Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre on Virgin Gorda.

Another pledge programme was successfully launched as donations raised to outfit the Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre on Virgin Gorda have increased to over $500,000.

Dr. Ronald E. Georges has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the BVI Health Services Authority. 

The public is invited to the launch of the New Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre Pledge Programme on Friday, October 26 at the Catholic Community Centre on Virgin Gorda.

The dedication, service and commitment of Emergency Nurses to their patients and their loyalty to the nursing profession will be in focus next week.

The public is invited to an Open House as part of the observance of Infection Control Week 2018 activities.

Local Specialist Pediatrician with the BVI Health Services Authority Dr. Natasha D. Frett has been appointed Director of Primary Healthcare Services effective September 1.
