Twenty-six local facilitators are now trained for the upcoming Complete Health Improvement Programme (CHIP) in the British Virgin Islands.

The public including private garbage haulers are notified that in an effort to control indiscriminate dumping of waste at the incinerator at Pockwood Pond, access to the site will not be allowed beyond 4:00 p.m. daily.

Assistant Manager at the Department of Waste Management, Mr. Neville Allen has said that access to the Pockwood Pond incinerator will be limited to 4:00 p.m. daily in an effort to control the practice of indiscriminate dumping.
