Manager of the Public Estate Management Unit within the Office of the Deputy Governor Mr. Floyd Stoutt is featured as he held a walk-through with prospective contractors, to discuss the scope of works on the restoration of the Old Administration Building on Main Street, Tortola. The first phase of works will include the rehabilitation of the front-facing façade, including the replacement of structural support members and all metallic features to make these aspects safer for pedestrians and motor vehicles.

The public is advised that due to the recent update from the Department of Disaster Management, the intensity of the rainfall and the road situation report from the Public Works Department, all Government Offices are closed today, June 6, with the exception of essential services.
The public is notified that the Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed for the remainder of today Monday, 30th October due to technical difficulties.
The public is notified that the Department of Town and Country Planning will be closed for the remainder of the day due to a utility outage in the area.
The Ministry of Education is advising the public of the closure the Claudia Creque Educational Centre for the remainder of today Thursday, 12th October.

The public is notified that following the all-clear from His Excellency, the Governor John J. Rankin, CMG and the completion of damage assessments, Government offices will resume normal operations tomorrow, October 5, 2023 at 8:30 am.
