The Ministry of Education and Culture is reminding the public that all public schools in the Territory will reopen for the 2016 Lent Term on Monday, January 4, 2016 and is advised that classes resume at the regularly scheduled time on that date.

Parents and guardians of students attending the Elmore Stoutt High School are advised that strict enforcement of the student dress code will be effective January 4, 2016, in adherence to the Education Act, 2004, Section 18 (a) and the Education (Student Code of Conduct) Rules, 2006, Section 4.

Residents of Virgin Gorda are notified that Minister for Education and Culture, Honourable Myron V. Walwyn will hold office hours on the sister island on Tuesday, December 15, at the Vanterpool Administration Building from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) will host its first talent showcase on Wednesday, December 9, as the school’s annual Advent Term fundraiser.
