Madam Speaker, fifty years ago, a bold decision was taken to develop the first Caribbean examination body and so the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) was born! Over those 50 years, this regional organisation now serving 16 countries has become one of the more successful regional organisations.
Madam Speaker, the preliminary results of the 2022 CXC Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examinations were released on Monday, 5th September, 2022.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie signed an agreement with the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Medicine and other Health Professionals (CAAM-HP) under CARICOM to establish medical schools in the Territory.
