The annual celebration of Virgin Islands Culture and Heritage Week (formerly Culture Week) will begin on Sunday, November 13.

The Department of Culture is requesting artwork from aspiring artists and crafts persons for an art exhibition to be held in celebration of Virgin Islands Culture and Heritage Week, from November 13 to 18.

Local author and historian, Dr. Quincy Lettsome will launch his latest book, ‘Virgin Islands: An Alphabetical Heritage’ on Wednesday, November 2.

The Department of Culture is inviting culture bearers and workers in the Virgin Islands to register with the department by Wednesday, November 30.

The Department of Culture is compiling information from persons involved in the cultural industry in the Territory for the creation of a Virgin Islands Cultural Directory.

The historical and cultural journey through the past was the focus of the 43^rd Anniversary of the USVI-BVI Friendship Day celebrations.

The United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands will mark the 43^rd anniversary of USVI-BVI Friendship Day celebrations on Saturday, September 17.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE led a delegation to the recently held Inter Virgin Islands Council (IVIC)  meeting on September 2 in St. Thomas, where among other areas of the mutual interests, the two Governments discussed the cultural exchange of musicians.
