Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to Wear Blue or ‘Every Child Matters’ t-shirts on Friday, April 26 to demonstrate unity against child abuse and to support survivors.
The Social Development Department is partnering with local family owned business, LSL Bakery to produce blue cupcakes every Friday in April in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. This year’s theme is ‘Every Child Matters’.
The Social Development Department is inviting families on Tortola to a Movie Night on Saturday, April 27 at Captain Mulligans at Nanny Cay at 6:00 p.m.

Representatives from the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) met with representatives from the British Overseas Territory last week to evaluate the Multi-Country Programming Annual Review.
Parents and guardians/caregivers are being asked to put the necessary precautions in place and safeguard children during the Emancipation/Festival Celebration activities.
