The public is reminded of the funeral arrangements for former Legislator and Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, Mr. Vernon Malone.

The official funeral of former legislator, Mr. Vernon Malone, QPM, LLB, CPA will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex. His body will lie in state, at the House of Assembly on Thursday, June 20. The public will have an opportunity to pay their last respects between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The public is notified that from Fishlock Road in front of the Road Town Fire Station to Pickering Road onto Station Avenue in front of the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex will be closed Friday the  2nd of February from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. to facilitate the Official Funeral Procession of former legislator, Mr. Carvin Malone.

Residents of the Sister Islands who are interested in attending the funeral of former legislator, Mr. Carvin Malone are asked to contact the Sister Islands Coordinator, Ms. Monel Nickie at telephone number 468-9542 by Tuesday, January 30 to register their interest for ground transportation. 

The public is notified that official flags should be flown at half-mast on February 2 in respect to the former legislator, Mr. Carvin Malone.

The official funeral of former legislator, Mr. Carvin Malone, will be held on Friday, February 2 at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex.
