The public is reminded of the funeral arrangements for former Legislator and Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, Mr. Vernon Malone.

Persons wishing to pay their last respects to the late Mr. Vernon Malone will have an opportunity to do so tomorrow Thursday, June 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as the body will lie in state at the House of Assembly in Road Town, Tortola.

The official funeral will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town. A procession will begin at 8:30 a.m. from the House of Assembly to the Sports Complex. The pre-service will commence at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family’s burial ground in Brewer’s Bay. 

Mr. Vernon Malone, QPM LLB CPA passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He leaves to mourn, his wife Icis, son Malcolm and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for the late Mr. Vernon Malone will be carried live on the Government of the Virgin Islands’ Facebook Page @BVIGovernment, ZBVI Radio 780 AM, CBN Radio 90.9 FM, FLOW TV Channel 101 and CCT Live Channel 291.
