A pleasant Good Day and God’s Blessings to all Virgin Islanders, residents and visitors.
You would recall that alternative energy was one of the key issues on which my team campaigned for the 2019 General Election. We promised that if you gave us the opportunity, we would make alternative energy not just a conversation but a commodity to households across our Territory.
I have learned that you had a fruitful trip to one of our prized jewels—Anegada yesterday. Anegada is the home to Lobster Festival, striking coral reefs and relaxation.
The priorities for the development of the British Virgin Islands National Energy Transition Strategy were discussed when the National Energy Strategy team met on Tuesday, February 13.

The Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Mark Vanterpool has stated that the Territory is gifted with free energy, which must be utilized in every way possible.
