The Government of the Virgin Islands is informing farmers using agricultural plots on the Paraquita Bay Estate that a project is underway to review the use of the land and demonstrate sustainable land farming practices on eligible livestock and crop farms on the Estate.

Junior Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Honourable Dr. Karl Dawson is inviting all farmers to a general meeting on Monday, August 28 at 5:00 p.m. at the Elmore Stoutt High School tent.
Owners of dogs and livestock are reminded to be responsible and proactive in ensuring their animals are secured, preventing harm to humans, other animals and property.
Turtle conservation in the Virgin Islands will receive support through the launch of a film and an online survey by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in conjunction with the Marine Conservation Society.
