The work of rebuilding the home, infrastructure and commercial properties in the Virgin Islands has been progressing well, especially during recent times.
As Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture it gives me great pleasure today to applaud UNESCO’s efforts in guiding the Education 2030 Agenda and the sustainable development goals.
I extend greetings to everyone at home and abroad. According to the World Health Organization, chronic diseases continue to be on the incline globally. It is expected to surge from 46 percent of the world’s population to 57 percent by 2020. Almost half of the chronic disease-caused deaths are attributable to cardiovascular diseases, obesity and diabetes.
