Step 1:  Write a letter to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles informing him that you wish to ship a vehicle out of the Territory. 

   The letter should inlcude:

• The date the vehicle will be shipped
• The vessel on which the vehicle will be shipped
• Whether or not the vehicle will be returning to the Territory
• Where the vehicle will be shipped to
• The registration number of the vehicle
• The type of vehicle
• The chassis number of the vehicle
• The year, make and colour of the vehicle
• The approximate weight of the vehicle
• The registered owner of the vehicle 

Step 2:  Submit the letter to the department for processing with the relevant fee.
