Over 40 BVIslanders living and studying in the United Kingdom turned up for an afternoon meet and greet hosted by Dr. The Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley and the BVI London Office at BVI House in London on November 23 during his first official visit to the UK.

Nine senior members of the teaching fraternity received certificates of completion for the “Effective Principals’ Licensure Programme” during a small ceremony held last week, making them the second cohort to receive this recognition.
Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley, on his first official visit to the UK, held successful discussions with key officials from the Economic Youth and Sustainable Development Directorate of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London on November 20.
During a recent visit to London, on the heels of successful meetings in Paris at the UNESCO 40th Session of the General Conference, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley engaged senior officials from three UK Government departments as part of his first official visit to the UK.
A new fire truck will soon be arriving in the Territory and will be stationed at the Fire Headquarters in Road Town to serve the areas between Sophie Bay and Pockwood Pond, and between Belle Vue and Windy Hill.

The Government of the British Virgin Islands has moved to clarify certain inaccurate reports and misconceptions that have been circulating in the local and international media with respect to its use of the US Dollar as the Territory’s official currency.
