Head of the Disabilities Division within the Social Development Department, Ms. Lorna Dawson is encouraging all residents to support all upcoming observances that bring awareness to the differently-abled community.
The Territory’s newly re-installed and upgraded National Emergency Broadcasting and Alert Network was activated in the just concluded annual earthquake and tsunami response exercise, Caribe Wave.
Some 140 pieces of art created by children of school age living in the BVI were showcased at a prize giving ceremony hosted by His Excellency Governor Augustus Jaspert and Mrs. Millie Jaspert.
