Captain of the International Maritime Organisation-recognised training platform vessel the MV Freewinds paid a courtesy call on His Excellency the Acting Governor David Archer, Jr. and then-Acting Premier, and Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone on Tuesday.
Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs. Tiffany Scatliffe-Esprit, LL.M. made a presentation on the BVI’s Criminal Justice System at a leadership meeting with officials from Her Majesty’s Customs and the United States Virgin Islands’ Department of Justice.
Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye Rymer, will be addressing the community of bikers this Saturday, February 22 at The Ultimate Rider’s Run 2020 Licencing and Registration Drive.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie signed an agreement with the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Medicine and other Health Professionals (CAAM-HP) under CARICOM to establish medical schools in the Territory.

The Premier of the Virgin Islands has today welcomed the announcement by the European Union that the British Virgin Islands is recognised as a fully compliant jurisdiction for tax purposes.
