The International Tax Authority is informing all BVI Financial Institutions that it has updated its list of Reportable Jurisdictions and the updated list is applicable to the reporting period January 1 to December 31, 2016.
His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Augustus Jaspert was sworn in as the 13th Governor of the Virgin Islands at the Swearing-in and Welcome Ceremony held on August 22.
Residents are encouraged to take precautions and to assist in clean-up efforts following the impact of the recent flood caused by the passage of a tropical wave.

One day before being sworn in as the new Governor of the Virgin Islands, Governor Designate Mr. Augustus Jaspert and his family, arrived in the Territory to warm greetings from officials.
The technical drainage and landslide experts have returned to Puerto Rico to compile a report on their findings following their damage assessments on Tortola after the passage of a tropical wave on August 7.
