The BVI Hong Kong Office in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture announces the launch of the Asia Abroad Scholarship Programme

The Public Service of the Virgin Islands partnered with non-profit organistations during this year’s Public Service Week to assist Public Officer, Colin Stevens with his rehabilitative efforts.

The public is invited to ‘The Premier’s Christmas Extravaganza with a Cultural Twist - The Sequel’ on Saturday, December 18, at the Festival Village Grounds from 3:00 p.m.

The Virgin Islands has improved local seismic monitoring capability with the installation of the Territory’s first solar powered strong motion sensor.

Background:

Acting in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 199), as amended, Cabinet has approved the following public holidays for 2022.

His Excellency the Governor, John Rankin, CMG rang in the holiday season by hosting parties for children and young adults on December 2 and 3.

Nineteen persons with special needs and disabilities received certificates of completion in various activities as part of the Award Scheme Development & Accreditation Network (ASDAN).
