The Compensation Review and Job Classification exercise that began in November 2022, is complete and was presented to Cabinet on Wednesday, November 8.
Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley says implementing gender focal points in every statutory body and commission is one of the most effective ways of achieving gender equality, equity, and empowerment of women within the Territory.

UK Minister Mike Freer MP, from the Ministry of Justice, visited the BVI between Sunday 5 to Tuesday 7 November. The purpose of the visit was for the Minister to see first-hand the opportunities and challenges in the BVI justice system, and to identify areas for further partnership with the UK
The Ministry of Health and Social Development is asking the community to do their part to help promote medicine safety by reporting adverse drug reactions.

Jost Van Dyke resident Mr. Lucien “Claude” Callwood is the latest recipient of the Ministry of Health and Social Development’s social home as part of its Housing Recovery Assistance Programme.
