The Ministry of Health and Social Development has issued a recall on all Ranitidine medication made by Apotex Corp, Sanoz Inc., Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline.
Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr. David Archer, Jr. has said that there must be systems in place that serve as a blueprint for the Territory’s response following a disaster, to allow for work to continue when the functions of Government are significantly affected.

Buildings located in the Registration Section of Road Town will now have physical addresses with a street name, number and postal code to each building and property.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer and a team of officials visited the area of a disrupted sewerage line at Pasea which caused a backup in traffic to Road Town earlier today.

Deputy Premier of the British Virgin Islands and Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley was in London last week to meet with international officials and various International Financial Centre (IFC) partners.
The Virgin Islands joins with other nations around the world this week highlighting ways to protect persons from the impacts of natural and man-made disasters following the United Nations’ annual International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities Mr. Ronald Smith-Berkeley says he is confident that the expertise and commitment reside within the ministry to restore the Territory’s road network and bring relief to the people of the Virgin Islands.
