In an effort to guard, prevent, and reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all residents and visitors on Jost Van Dyke are to remain at home under quarantine for a period of seven (7) days starting today.
An airline passenger travelled from the British Virgin Islands on July 15 tested positive for COVID-19 on arrival to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on July 18.

Vendors plying their trade at the market square in Road Town will temporarily relocate on Fishlock Road, adjacent the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Headquarters until works to renovate the current market square is complete.
The Government of the Virgin Islands will be providing assistance to persons who have lost from their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are desirous of returning to their home countries.
