The British Virgin Islands (BVI) was recently represented at a two-day European Union (EU) programme workshop in Brussels, to discuss the opportunities provided by these programmes.
Owners of vessels deemed to be derelict and abandoned in the Territory are asked to contact the Receiver of Wrecks and provide information on the removal of these vessels from their present locations.

Officials from the BVI Health Services Authority have reported that the first baby of 2019 was born in the early morning hours of January 2 to Ms. Shianne Kuntz.
