Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer has said that his ministry stands firm on its vision of providing a high standard of internationally accepted public infrastructure for the Territory.
Honourable Rymer in remarks at the commissioning of the shuttles for the City of Road Town Park and Ride initiative said the project to improve and beautify the city commenced before his tenure as minister. He said Government upon taking office recognised the need to continue with the enhancement of the capital, and moved forward with the initiative.
The Ministry of Education is focusing on the unique contribution of school counselors within the Territory’s school system as it observes National School Counseling Week 2022.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is reporting three additional COVID-19 related deaths, which brings the number of deaths in the Territory to 61.
National Epidemiologist Ms. Harmonie Massiah-Brewley has said that the Public Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development is on a quest to promote health, wellness and fun for the year 2022.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer is urging residents and the motoring public to traverse with caution as we are in the second day of continuous rain in the Territory.
Mr. Arnold Ainsley has been appointed Accountant General in the Treasury Department of the Government of the Virgin Islands, effective January 24 for a period of two years.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development has confirmed that two more persons have died as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths in the Virgin Islands to 51.
