Students, first responders and other residents of the Virgin Islands joined the rest of the Caribbean and Latin America to practise the safest way to respond in case of an earthquake and tsunami as part of Caribe Wave.

Three detainees who escaped the Department of Immigration detention facility on Friday, March 11 have been recaptured. The search is still ongoing for the others who remain at large. 

The Department of Labour and Workforce Development and the British Virgin Islands Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association are partnering to source employers for persons who have completed the Employability Skills Training Programme.

Persons, as well as agencies, who were unable to complete the COVID-19 Stimulus Feedback Form in 2021, are asked to do so by April 14, 2022.
