Forty-two candidates have been nominated to contest the 2015 General Elections to be held in the Virgin Islands on June 8.
A full slate of 13 candidates from both the ruling National Democratic Party, and the main opposition party, the Virgin Islands Party, were nominated in addition to five members from the People’s Empowerment Party. Three candidates were nominated from the People’s Progressive Coalition.
Leonora Delville Primary School was named the winner of the 2015 Inter-Primary Spanish Bowl Competition held at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall on May 20.

A seven-member delegation led by Director of BVI House Asia, Ms. Elise Donovan, participated in the three-hour conference hosted by Director General of Shenzhen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Dr. Tang Lixia. The conference allowed participating cities to exchange their insights on enhancing international, economic and cultural cooperation with each other.
